How Many Shows of the Strange Behaviour Tour (March 16, 1987 – August 10, 1987) Did You See?

  1. 24,25,and 27 July 1987. Two shows @ the Forum and one @ Irvine Meadows. @ the Irvine Meadows show, I made a torch to light instead of just having matches or a lighter like everyone else, lol. It was easy to put out and I kept water handy just in case. (And yes, I made sure to keep it away from anyone’s hairspray.)

  2. July 24, 25, 27, and 28 in LA, Irvine, and San Diego. I also saw DD open for Bowie on August 12 in Denver. I thought for sure Bowie would at least bring out Simon to do Fame but it wasn’t to be. I was disappointed with the show overall because I had such high hopes.

  3. San Juan PR on both dates August 7 and 8, 1987. The long awaited concerts were sold out in a matter of hours as soon as the tickets were on sale at the venue. We were starving for them in the island! Then a second date was announced due to the high demand. Again, sold out in one day considering there were only 3 places you could buy them from! Each ticket was $15.00 (I know, nowadays that would not even get you a DD keychain!), The second night the boys poured it all out on stage as the concert lasted almost three and a half hours with 3 encores (unheard of back then!!!). They figured it out: Puerto Rico LOVES Duran Duran!!!!.
