So, once upon a time, I decided to record a podcast as a sort of primer to In My Bones. Thinking that perhaps it might be fun to talk about Dom’s new album as an <insert laughter here> unbiased reporter, I did my homework. I listened to the album approximately eleventy-thousand times, took copious notes, and recorded a podcast.
I have no future as an unbiased reporter.
Even so, I promised a podcast! I finished recording, spent seventy-zillion hours editing, and it is below for your listening pleasure. Although it is nowhere near as unbiased as I’d hoped (turns out writing comments is far easier than recording them, at least for me), I thoroughly enjoyed the process. You’ll need to find me in a dark corner of a bar somewhere at some point if you really want to know the good stuff, like which songs give me goosebumps, or how many times I’ve actually sat and listened to my favorite two songs on the album (right along with which songs those might be, although I think I gave one of the two away on the podcast!).
My favorite cocktail is a Tito’s vodka tonic with plenty of lime, and yes, I can be bribed.
