Notes from the Road (from duranduranmusic.com):

Hello from backstage at the KB Hallen. The band have just finished an AMAZING show here in Copenhagen. Other than it being a million degrees (maybe not a million, but it was certainly hot out there…) it was what a great show is all about.

The crowd was wonderful and the band was LOVING it! This is such a cool town, so its not surprise that its people are too! Things are winding down now…load out is happening all around, the band is on the way to catch a late flight to London and the crew is gearing up for our 20 (yes that is 20, 2-0) hour drive to London. This week upcoming the crew and band will be in rehearsals in the UK rehearsing for the Mark Ronson show in a couple weeks. They are working hard to get ready for it. From calls between Mr. Ronson and the guys to reprogramming to rehearsing it will be quite the adventure.

Then of course its off to the UK!

So, it will be quiet for a few days while we are between gigs, but will be in touch after London.

See ya

There are also a number of videos from the show on YouTube.  I decided it would be fun to include a clip of Tempted from that night:

Were any of you there?  If so, what was it like?

  1. I was there, also for the show the day before in Odense. They didnt do the electronic set in odense sadly, it was imo the best part of the show even if most of the audience fell a tad quiet during Leatherette lol. It was a fab cover of it though! Yea it was on the humid side that day and some of us went to the hotel after (of course the boys had run off to the airport but the staff was sweet and we had a good night in the bar anyway (the boys missed a cozy intimate party so their loss 😉 )
I did VIP on both shows but the Odense show was rubbish for the VIP (not official VIP but still payed a bit more for the ticket) about ten of us had been there first thing and waited in the baking sun right up front for about 4-5 hours and then about 30 mins before they are due on we were all ushered out cos they had to set up the enclosement for the VIPs … wtf ?! No need to tell you we were pissed off. The official VIP in Copenhagen was perfect as always and Jenn did as always a great job making sure we all had what we needed.
I cant afford to travel round (student) so I only go to see the danish shows and then I do the VIPs cos its a special thing and denamrk being small we are always sure to get front row o/
