Question of the Week: Which Song Best Represents the Big Live Thing Tour of 1988-1989?

Our continuing quest to determine the song that best represents each tour continues. The idea behind this set of surveys is simple. If we could pick out one song that best showcases each tour, that could make for a fun playlist. We started with the most recent tour and then moved backwards in Duran history. The results so far are:

  • Paper Gods Tour – Pressure Off
  • All You Need Is Now Tour – All You Need Is Now
  • Red Carpet Massacre Tour – Night Runner
  • Astronaut Tour – Sunrise
  • Pop Trash Tour – Hallucinating Elvis
  • Ultra Chrome Latex and Steel Tour – Electric Barbarella
  • Thank You Promo tour – White Lines
  • No Ordinary Tour – Too Much Information

This week, we ask about the Big Live Thing Tour of 1988-1989. In order to make the poll, I looked up all the songs played in 1989. They are listed by frequency of play. On that note, happy voting!

(What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.
