Vodka Friday: Voodoo Music Festival Memories and Nightmares

On October 29th, 2006, Duran Duran headlined the Sunday night of the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans. We thought we were so smart in buying these cheap $25 tickets with the plan of hanging out all day long to secure an amazing spot for our beloved Duran. Let me tell you that by the time the band finally took the stage, we had suffered. Significantly. In fact, I think we experienced a true violation of our human rights, according to the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. Why? How? We share all and more in this week’s Vodka Friday!
