Duran Duran History – Fairfax 1994

Today’s Duran Duran history takes us back 21 years to 1994 when the band played at the Patriot Center at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, minutes away from Washington D.C.  This show was part of the band’s Dilate Your Mind Tour.

I found the following setlist from the show:

Too Much Information
A View to a Kill
Hungry Like the Wolf
Ordinary World
Serious
White Lines
First Impression
Planet Earth
Come Undone
Love Voodoo
Girls on Film
Notorious
The Reflex
Rio
Save a Prayer
The Wild Boys

Here is an audio version of Serious from that night!  Enjoy!

By Daily Duranie

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.

  1. The set list is awesome: I can see almost all of their albums receiving a live tribute, apart from Big Thing.
Big Thing was a very experimental record, surely not a live album, in my opinion.
Thank you guys for the awesome live music ever!
