Duran Duran History – Wembley 1998

Today’s Duran Duran History takes us back to 1998 when Duran Duran played at Wembley Arena in London.  This show was the second to last date in the Latest and Greatest Tour.  Most importantly, this show was filmed and aired on Japanese TV.

According to setlist.fm, the set list was as follows:

Planet Earth
Is There Something I Should Know
A View to a Kill
Come Undone
Careless Memories
Big Bang Generation
Save a Prayer
Friends of Mine
All She Wants Is
Notorious
Ordinary World
Out of my Mind
Wild Boys
Electric Barbarella
Hungry Like the Wolf
Girls on Film
Secret Oktober
The Reflex
Rio

You can find most of this live performance on YouTube.  I decided to include Out of my Mind here because it is the one song that I really love from the Medazzaland period and would love to see/hear this one live!

By Daily Duranie

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.

  1. Sorry if I say it again, but what an amazing set list.
They just honored almost all of their albums, adding pop gems like Friends of Mine, Secret Oktober, ….
