If you’ve been reading social media at all this morning, you might have run across this little tidbit from a newspaper in New Zealand.(original reports are from New York)
For my friends who don’t want to click a link to read, the basics are that Lorde has asked Simon (and Grace Jones) to sing on a soundtrack for the Hunger Games. Many have sent messages to Ask Katy, who has responded with “YES. Stay tuned!”
How about that, Duran fans?
From my perspective, I think this is good news for a Monday morning. I’d love to see the entire band involved on such a project, and I would pay good money to see the band get a little more in touch with their slightly sinister and dark side as a whole. However, I’m curious to see what’s ahead for LeBon. And Lorde. That girl’s got good taste!
