On this date in 2004 (TEN years ago), Sunrise was released as a single. I don’t know about the rest of you but I won’t ever forget when I heard this song for the first time. I knew that they were back. Duran Duran was back. It made the reunion really real for me. It seemed so fitting on so many levels. I still love the song today and always look forward to seeing it live. What did the rest of you think of this song when you first heard it?

Sunrise is such as excellent song and it was so exciting to hear the band back in top form with it. I was really excited to hear it live, and it’s still awesome to hear. You’re right, I can’t believe it’s been 10 yrs since then!
