Let’s Talk About a Little Gratitude

On today’s episode of My Own Way, I wanted to talk a little bit about what I’ve learned as a result of this pandemic and feeling as though the world has been under lock and key since last March!

One thing I’ve definitely learned is that editing doesn’t always go as planned…but hey, it’s finished now and posted for your enjoyment! -R

By Daily Duranie

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.

  1. I’m wondering how so many are getting it over others. I’m getting my vaccination next week because I’m in one of the priority groups. I recently became a certified counselor (right before Covid) but can’t work until I get it, and on top of it I have asthma and immune system issues so I got skipped to the front of the line. Most of the other counselors I know have all been vaccinated. I’ve been doing a lot of change, and I’ve put on a lot of weight. I have this male friend where we’ve had a purely friendship due to several personal health issues and am planning on visiting him because he moved pre Covid 4 hours away, and I want him to see me thinner, because when I gain weight I feel less confident about myself. The pandemic has encouraged me to change, even moving if it will make me happier.
