Making statements since 2010!

I chose Falling Down because that is the most annoying song on the list. That loud and repetitive anti-melody sound would be remixed out and replaced with something softer and less annoying. ☺️
I, too, chose Falling Down. It had potential so I figured that a rework might help the most! -A
I chose the Reflex because at the time I loved it but now it seems dated at times, and less memorable than less popular songs.
I actually did not pick a song because I enjoy all of these and have no idea what needs changed. I have been playing Red Carpet Massacre all week and in fact Falling Down is the song I want to hear as it is reflecting my currant emotional state. So it was interesting that this song is so unappreciated.Maybe it works if one id depressed and feeling lost. Nick’s plaintive keyboards give voice to whats in my soul right now.
As an aside, am I the only one having trouble reading the dark grey and pink of this? I will confess that I find change distressing, but the blog is very dark.Maybe can the writing be in a lighter colour?Just some feedback, thanks for listening.
Hi Lyria. I am very confused…do you mean the dark grey border with the lettering? The rest of the blog itself is white….that’s just the menu on the side. let me know if you’re seeing something different. -R
Difficult to choose, I like all the songs in their own way. As far as production goes, I really like the “bigger than life” baroque production of Alex Sadkin on TR and ITSISK. Falling down is a favorite of mine, it shows that the band has really matured. The production is clear and contemperary, and the hypnotizing repetitive guitar part (or is it a keyboard?) is what makes the song for me, so it should be kept front and center. That leaves “Serious”, in which the sparse production is adequate, but doesn’t enhance the song a lot in my view.
I like how you really thought this question through! Very cool! -A
