Today in Duran History – Montreal 1987

On this date in 1987, Duran Duran played at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Canada.  This was part of David Bowie’s Glass Spider Tour.

Setlist.fm actually had the set list for this show, which was:

A View to a Kill
Notorious
American Science
Union of the Snake
New Religion
Election Day
Some Like It Hot
The Chauffeur
Skin Trade
Hold Me
Is There Something I Should Know?
Hungry Like the Wolf
Wild Boys
The Reflex

Obviously, this set list was a little shorter than a typical Duran show. Is this because they were in the supporting role?  What do you think of this set list?  Do you think it was right to play an Arcadia song and a Power Station song?

By Daily Duranie

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.
