Today in Duran History – Nottingham 1989

On this date in 1989, Duran Duran played at the Royal Centre in Nottingham, UK.  I don’t have much to say about this show.  Was anyone at this show?  If so, what was the show like?  When I look at the number of tour dates supporting Big Thing, I’m amazed at how many shows they did.  First, the tour started with the Caravan Club Tour where they played smaller clubs in 1988.  Then, a long tour from the end of 1988 to spring of 1989, which was quickly followed by the Big Electric Theatre.  Lastly, the band played a few summer festivals.
