We Have to Live

Tuesday evening and yesterday were rough. I had gotten some pretty terrible news when I went to band rehearsal that, unfortunately, has been hard for me to work through. I’m hoping that doing a podcast about it helps. If nothing else, it serves as a good reminder that we are guaranteed not a single moment, and that time isn’t something to waste.

Also, please let this serve as a gentle warning that if you are easily upset by news of deaths, or even of sadness and grief, that perhaps this podcast episode is one to pass.

Hoping for better times ahead. -R

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss and totally understand that feeling of losing someone at the drop of a dime and having to make the decision of removing a person of life support. It’s the hardest time to comprehend what is going on, why it’s happening and how to react to it. Sending you so huge hug.

    1. Thank you! It was such a shock, but I went to rehearsal last night, gave it my all, and thought of Lori. 🙂 -R
