Welcome!

After two weeks of loading new themes (think templates) and finding that none of them really did what we needed, and starting to really sweat about getting this site up and running…here it is. Granted, it is not perfect, nor finished, but it is getting there. The rest can be done over time.

A couple of things I want to explain going forward:

  1. We are super excited to share new content with you over the coming weeks and months! Daily Duranie is still going to be DAILY, and our content is going to be new, fresh, and exciting! We will still write blogs (oh look, I’m writing one now…), and we’re also hoping to keep you all guessing about what we might do next, so stay tuned!
  2. Are you looking for that old blog post about The Reflex? Maybe you’re needing a recap of last month’s Katy Kafe? Well, with any luck, you shouldn’t be able to find them on this site. At least, not currently. Let’s just say I’m working out some bugs at the moment, but that my next big task is to get them back over here and organized into an archive page. Anything prior to August of 2020 should not be searchable on the site. Key word there is “should” (I know you’re running to prove me wrong right now. Please don’t.)

Thanks so much for your patience!! I hope you enjoy the new version of Daily Duranie!

By Daily Duranie

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.

  1. Looking great! In my time now instead of reading social media (which is gotten so mean spirited) I started taking web development classes like HTML and CSS. I already knew them but wanted to update my skills. Anyway, your new site really looks like you’ve been working with web language as well and it shows.

    1. Thanks! I learned a lot during this process, and have come to the conclusion that I will never have a career as a site builder. LOL I know enough to get myself into a lot of trouble, and that’s about it. 😀 -R
