Headliner News: Duran Duran on Italian Web Radio

We have outstanding news for anyone who can’t quite get enough of Duran Duran. On December 8th, anyone in the world can tune in to a very special radio show.

ISNOW is an independent web-radio station in the Molise region of Italy.  Like most fans, they are excited to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Duran Duran’s debut album next year.

Getting a jump on the celebration, they have put together a special program celebrating Duran Duran!
Special guests include:

  • Paul Boschi – American-but-Berlin-Based-Event-Producer and Super Duran Fan. Paul has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Katy Perry, Mary J Blige and Sting, to name a few.
  • Roy Bennett – Stage and lighting designer who works with Lady Gaga and Paul McCartney, but also worked with the band on the Notorious/Strange Behaviour, and Big Thing world tours.
  • Giorgio Guarnieri – Huge Duran Duran fan, founder, DJ and producer of Live Aid Radio. He’s also in the process of writing a book about his experience producing Live Aid.

Of course they ‘ll be playing a great selection of Duran Duran tunes, and there’s even a few specially recorded intro’s by a band member!

The best part is that you don’t have to be in Italy or Europe to hear the show! The entire world can listen in, and who amongst us doesn’t need more Duran Duran in their lives right now, anyway??

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.
