Memorabilia Medley – The Book of Words

Here’s another crazy video of mine as I go over the Book of Words and why I think it should be included in library of any Duran fan! -R

By Daily Duranie

Once upon a time, there were two Duran Duran fans. One named Amanda, the other named Rhonda. Over many vodka tonics, they would laugh about the idea of one day writing a book about their fan experiences. While that manuscript is still being composed...Rhonda thought they should write a blog. (What was she THINKING?!) Lo and behold: The Daily Duranie was born.

  1. I love how you picked this book because this was my first Duran Duran book that I got as I became a fan. Because I was born and raised in Montreal from parents from Spain, my first two languages were French and Spanish. I wanted to know what the songs meant and not understanding or knowing English, I got this book, a dictionary English / French and translated all the songs for myself to be able to understanding. I know most of the translation didn’t make sense but I got the just of it and now, knowing the language better, it makes more sense. Thanks for making that video and talking about my first DD book !
