Today, I wanted to address a specific question that a few people asked me in regard to something I’d said on the Vodka Friday video from last week.

Hi Rhonda, thank you so much for this video post. I hear and feel everything you’re saying, and although I still listen to the band and watch videos on occasion, I have to say it’s a little harder for me to do it. I too lost a dear friend during this awful pandemic. She was a hair salon owner and poured her heart and soul into her business. Due to all of the lockdowns, she had to close the business permanently. Not five days after it closed, she died peacefully in her sleep (not from covid). It was like her heart was broken, literally. It’s so very painful, and I am sorry for your loss. Be well!
I am so sorry to hear about your friend, Sue. That is awful, and I send my condolences to you. The pandemic has been horrible for everyone, and I just think we need to give one another the space to grieve however we need. Thanks for reaching out. -R
